"Seed Pods" oil on panel. This is an old project that I painted many years ago while still working with oil paints. A festive sight to welcome in the twilight months of another strange year. Stay safe out there!

I finished a painting of my daughter-in-law's lovely niece in Thailand. I am hoping that when she grows up it will bring her joy- just as she has brought joy to those around her! It is titled "Precious Moment" (Acrylic 16" x 20"). My son Christopher Hsiao's photo of her stacking seashells on a beach was used as a reference (the photo above is a different photo taken the same day).

I am happy to announce that my paintings "The Light Within" and "Amaryllis and Hummingbird" will be on display in the Bellmont Gallery of Art's Spring 2021 Exhibit! This is a virtual exhibit that focuses on: "Art Heals: Transforming Ourselves and Our World."

My first yellow rose! An 8 x 10" painting. The good side of having little outdoor activity this year is that it provides plenty of time for painting and trying new ideas!
