"Sing, Dance, Rejoice" on display at the Salmagundi Club!
My painting "Sing, Dance, Rejoice" is now on display at the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club's 126th Annual Open Exhibition. The Awards Reception and Benefit Reception will raise funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art and help advance research and travel for art-related ventures. The Salmagundi Club was established in 1871 to support and connect artists and patrons of the art. In 1917, the club moved to its current location in a historic brownstone mansion in Greenwich Village, New York City. This was my first time visiting the Salmagundi Club and I enjoyed learning more about the venue. The club offers year-round exhibitions, lectures, and art classes, and encourages young artists interested in representational art "to apply for their junior memberships and scholarships".
