Dropped off "Light Within" at the Salmagundi Club!
My painting "Light Within" is now on display as part of the 65th Annual Juried Exhibition of the National Society of Painters in Casein and Acrylic at the Salmagundi Club on lower Fifth Avenue in Greenwich Village, New York City. As always, we enjoy traveling to the Big Apple to see and meet many talented artists also showcasing their artwork! A slideshow of pictures highlighting the Salmagundi club is below:
The Salmagundi Club was established in 1871 to support and connect artists and patrons of the art. In 1917, the club moved to its current location in a historic brownstone mansion in Greenwich Village, New York City. This was my first time visiting the Salmagundi Club and I enjoyed learning more about the venue. The club offers year-round exhibitions, lectures, and art classes, and encourages young artists interested in representational art "to apply for their junior memberships and scholarships".
