Wonderful time at the Illuminations Art Reception!
I'm excited to announce that I have nine paintings on display at the "Illuminations" exhibit at the Yawkey Center for Outpatient Care at Mass General Hospital in Boston. The paintings will remain on display from June until mid-September 2018. My hope is that my artwork will give a sense of peace, hope and joy to those going through difficult times. There was a great turnout and a fun time for all at the Illuminations Art Reception last night! Four floors of the Cancer Center have been filled with artwork by some very talented artists, including nine paintings from yours truly. A slideshow of a few pictures from the event are below:
Art is a passion for me, not a hobby. When my brush is passing over the canvas and I select both colors and scenes, I try to imagine what feelings the painting will instill in the viewer. I sincerely trust that the artwork at the center will give patients and loved ones a sense of peace, encouragement, and hope!
