Easter Inspiration

"Wounded" is the painting I am introducing just in time for Easter! It can be seen at the "Inspired" show in the Grace Chapel Gallery in Lexington, MA.

Inspiration: I was struck that the Lord who created these delicate flowers as a blessing to mankind, willingly created thorns; knowing that they would one day bring Him great pain and humiliation. Jesus’ love, mercy and sacrifice are an inspiration to me. He was wounded for my transgressions and rose again that I will one day dwell with Him.
