Thailand Trip

Wow! It feels like I've been away for a long time! Yes, my husband, his sister, and myself have been away to attend my son's wedding in Bangkok, Thailand!

In spite of hearing of all the dangers of traveling to Bangkok in the middle of protests, we decided to take my son's word that most areas of Bangkok are unaffected by violence and took the long fifteen hour flight.

Exotic, hot, and crowded are possibly the three best words to describe Bangkok! The paintings and art in Thailand are very much different from anything that we've seen before! Beautiful, and again, exotic :). It was fun to explore Bangkok and see new sights, but now I'm ready to "get back into the swing of things" and do some painting!!
